January 2012 Meeting
In the meeting we heard some news about the fund raising acitivties of the
Wiltshire Air Ambulance. They don't receive funding from Government or National Lottery.
You can Support them by taking part in their weekly lottery. You're already a winner by helping them continue this vital rescue service, and you never know... you might even win (up to £1000).
If your're interested, Sam & Jason have got a couple of spare forms, or check out the Wilshire Air Ambulance web site here.
November 2011 RideOut
The November rideout is being organised by Neil and will be on Sun 6th Nov and NOT on the 13th as per a usual month.
It is to be a joint venture with the Wessex Branch and will involve a lunch stop at "The Cross Keys" at Upper Chute near Andover.
Neil has to let the pub know how many people will be there for lunch that day, so.........please refer to your email where a menu is attached.
Can everyone who wishes to join in with this rideout please inform Gail and Neil, and most importantly if you wish to eat at the Cross Keys (or not) give your menu choice, so that Neil can inform the pub of numbers ASAP.
Please send your responses in as soon as you can and in any case by the end of October at latest.
Wiltshire Branch REOC AGM (October)
Alan informed that as a result of the R.E.O.C. A.G.M. we have our own Steve as treasurer, supported by Robin and Graeme on the main R.E.O.C. Committee.
At the Wiltshire Branch A.G.M. all officers were duly re-elected, but Trevor & Christine are relinquishing the issuing of the Events Calendar. This will be passed over to Gail commencing immediately.
Gordon’s talk on his tour of Scandanavia at the the Wiltshire Branch's A.G.M. made an interesting addition to the evening.

Enjoy a heart warming tale from Trevor Cook and how he got into biking, it includes buying the same type of bike his father rode in WWII and a passion for two wheels spanning too many machines to mention.
